Data Scientists must be great communicators with a high level of programming expertise. They must have strong skills in manipulating and interpreting data. Data scientists need to be proactive and good learners, so they can stay on top of evolving technologies. Specifically, in the Vervoe skill assessment, the following skills are looked at it in detail, python coding ability, machine learning, the skill level of using TensorFlow, and their communication skills.

A Data Analyst should be proficient in maths but, most importantly, demonstrate a strong business sense. Through this combination, they can drive change to the business based on pieces of information they derive from data. Specifically, in the Vervoe skill assessment, the following skills are looked at in detail, critical thinking, use of data models in different situations, and data classification for the different problem sets.

A SQL Developer must be highly proficient in writing SQL statements. This must also be paired with their knowledge of database security ensuring the data is not tampered with by the wrong person. Specifically, in the Vervoe skill assessment, the following skills are looked at it in detail, their ability to write different efficient and reusable SQL queries, their knowledge of databases, and their problem-solving skills.

For a React Developer to be successful in their role they must have a fundamental knowledge of a handful of languages such as, HTML, CSS, Git, Node and JavaScript. They will also need the skills to create applications which work on all the different types of web-capable devices that the application would appear on. These hard skills will need to be bundled with a great desire for problem solving as they will run into many hurdles and will be expected to find solutions which address their problems. Specifically, in the Vervoe skill assessment the following skills are looked at it in detail, React general knowledge, JavaScript coding skills, front-end knowledge and communication to stakeholders.

The skills that are tested in this assessment for a Sales and Marketing Manager include the candidate's ability to develop sales strategies, communicate with others and implement marketing strategies to position and price the business. The assessment will test candidates based on how well they are able to communicate with other team members, questions that they consider most important when trying to create a sales strategy, the basis on which they would configure a pricing scheme for a business, as well as how they would effectively manage their team.

The skills that are tested in this assessment for a Copywriter include how skilled the candidate is in SEO, copywriting, creative thinking, and research. It tests their ability to plan, design, and create advertising campaigns, the process they would follow before writing content for SEO, their process for creating a landing page, the research, and resources they would utilize when working with a new client, as well as the research they would conduct once being assigned to a project they had little knowledge about.

The skills that are tested in this assessment for a Senior SEM Manager include how skilled the candidate is in campaign management, SEM, and marketing analytics. The assessment tests a candidates ability to stop Ads from appearing in searches that are irrelevant, what they believe to be the top marketing priorities to focus on for a new business, their ability to draw conclusions from a data set, and what they believe SEM's role is in an integrated and multifunctional marketing plan.

The skills that are tested in this assessment for a Content Marketing Manager include how skilled the candidate is in conducting research, planning and creating content, and analyzing data. The assessment asks candidates to explain how they decide on topics and the format layout of new content, how they measure the success of their published content, how they conduct research for a topic that they know nothing about, the questions they consider to be most important to ask when working with a new client, and how they prioritize important tasks during the day.

The skills that are tested in this assessment for a Director of Content Marketing include how skilled the candidate is in their ability to choose the best tools and program to assist them in the content marketing process, what metrics they use to measure success, how they promote content, how they manage their team when issues arise, the actions that they take when developing content marketing strategies, and actions that they take to ensure that themselves and their team are always up to date with practices, technology, and industry news.

The skills that are tested in this assessment for a Marketing Consultant include the candidate's ability to manage stakeholders and their expectations, their proficiency in creating marketing strategies and digital marketing, and their ability to analyze data. The assessment asks questions that determine if the candidate is able to help a business to improve on employee turnover metrics, how they respond when a stakeholder does not agree with the marketing strategy that the marketing consultant recommended, can explain the importance of utilizing social media to an 'old-school' business owner, the data that they find most important to analyze when starting to work with a new client, as well as recommendations they would make to a business that's goal was to improve customer retention.

The skills that are tested in this assessment for a Content Marketer include how skilled the candidate is in their ability to market content, their ability to learn new skills and work to improve SEO. The assessment asks candidates to share examples of the content they have created, to outline the tools and platforms that they frequently utilize when creating content, how they would improve content that isn't ranking well or getting many views, how many articles they believe should be published each week and other blogs and channels that they regularly visit in order to improve their skills and industry knowledge.

The skills that are tested in this assessment for a Head of Growth include how skilled the candidate is in creating and implementing marketing and product strategies, implementing website strategies, and also motivating and leading a team. The assessment tests a candidates ability to use metrics in order to improve marketing efforts, create case studies to promote success stories to the public, how and when to use link building techniques, how to foster a supportive team environment, and encourage teams to collaborate well with other teams and departments, as well as their ability to deliver constructive feedback.
