Success criteria for the role
- Enterprise sales experience: you will have a proven track record of success, with a minimum of three years enterprise sales experience.
- Consultative selling: you’ll develop a deep understanding of the prospective customer's business challenges, economic drivers and strategic priorities - and then position solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Multi-threading: you’ll know how to map organization hierarchies, build consensus across multiple decision makers, identify champions and blockers, and maintain parallel conversations at different levels without relying on a single point of contact.
- Qualification discipline: customer focused discovery, and disciplined qualification using market-tested frameworks (eg. BANT, MEDDIIC).
- Value-based selling:your approach to negotiations and managing the buying process will be based on clearly articulating mutual value that is both quantifiable and relevant to each internal stakeholder.
- Resilience: perhaps the #1 skill for sustained success in this role, you will have strong resilience and tenacity to handle the ups and downs of enterprise sales and also technology scaleups.
- Motivated and self-driven: your motivation comes from within, and you can independently set your own direction, prioritize, and execute without frequent hand-holding.
- In summary: you’re a proven exponent of closing complex, $100K+ ACV transactions, and you thrive in a scaleup environment.

What happens next?
- We’ll start with an initial conversation to make sure we’re on the same page.
- Then, a short job simulation. We use our own product every single time because we know it’s the best way to make hiring decisions. Your responses will give us a strong sense of how you approach your craft, and it will give you a feel for the product.
- We will also include a live role-play exercise to assess your ability to conduct discovery, assemble a solution to the customer’s pain points and articulate a differentiated value proposition.
- After that we’ll spend more time together so we can understand the environment we need to create for you to be successful and address any questions you will have. That often happens over a few conversations, but we like to move quickly.
- The rest is largely formalities, and then we’ll start the onboarding process, which will include spending time onboarding with us in Australia!
